It's not just about fun and games – Summer Brain Gain is committed to nurturing holistic development and fostering a love for learning among participants.

Furthermore, as part of the Summer Brain Gain initiative, we proudly offer Summer Brain Gain: Read!. This literacy program serves as a vital complement to the broader curriculum, emphasizing the importance of literacy skills development alongside other educational pursuits. Through a blend of interactive activities, stimulating reading materials, and targeted instruction, Summer Brain Gain: Read! equips students with the tools they need to succeed academically and beyond. With a focus on building confidence, expanding vocabulary, and enhancing comprehension abilities, this program is a cornerstone of our commitment to educational excellence.

Project Learn

Smart Moves

SMART Moves stands as a beacon of prevention and education, addressing critical issues such as drug and alcohol use, as well as premature sexual activity, among young people. This innovative program goes beyond traditional approaches, offering a comprehensive framework designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and resilience needed to make positive life choices. Through a series of interactive workshops, engaging discussions, and hands-on activities, SMART Moves provides a safe and supportive space for young people to explore the consequences of risky behaviors and develop strategies for avoiding them. By fostering open dialogue and promoting critical thinking, the program empowers participants to navigate complex challenges with confidence and resilience.

Santa Fe Public Schools and the Boys & Girls Club are proud to announce the 2026 Summer Food Service Program. Providing free, nutritious meals to keep kids active and healthy.

Program Details

This program is FREE to ALL children between the ages of 1 and 18 years. No school or city-sponsored participation required—just come and enjoy a meal!
