After School Program

2017-2018 School Year

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Fe/Del Norte is the oldest provider of after school programs in Santa Fe County and now we are also providing programming in Rio Arriba County.  From August-May of each year, we operate our award-winning After School program at all of our Club sites, Monday-Friday from 3:30 to 6:00 pm. The Club also provides transportation from schools. 

We are open to children on most holidays and school breaks, as well as in-service and parent/teacher conference days. Transportation is provided from the following school to our Clubs in Santa Fe:

ALTO:                               Gonzales, Aspen, Carlos Gilbert

CAMINO DE JACOBO:     Ramirez Thomas, Sweeney

​VALLE VISTA:                   Turquoise Trail, Amy Biehl

ZONA:                              Cesar Chavez, Sweeney, Nino Otero, El Camino Real, Santa Nino, Ortiz, Pinon, Nava, Kearney, Turquoise Trail,                                                   Chaparral, EJ Martinez                                                     

After school programs work! Research has shown that kids who participate have:

  • Higher grades and test scores
  • Improved attitudes toward school, higher expectations for school achievement, better work habits, and higher attendance rates.
  • Lower youth involvement in risky behaviors: drinking, smoking, using drugs, having sex, and becoming involved in violence
  • Significant increase in positive behaviors: social and behavioral adjustment, better relations with peers, more effective conflict resolution strategies, and increased parent involvement.

          REGISTRATION FEE = $25/family for new members only (exc. CYFD qualified)

          TRANSPORTATION FEE= $15/month for each family who has children transported from an SFPS to one of our Club sites, including CYFD and hardships. 

          DROP-IN/WEEKLY RATE= $75/week

          First month's payment due upon registration and on the 1st of each month thereafter.                

Missed/forgotten payments will result in suspension of your child's membership.

         PLEASE NOTE: No refunds on any transactions. Fees are subject to change from program session to program session.
